Road network in Montengro is 7.314 km long in total. The most important highways are Jadranska magistrala (Adriatic Highway), leading from Herceg-Novi to Ulcinj, as well as a highway from Bar through Bijelo Polje to Serbia, which connects the north and the south of the Republic. Airway transport is performed on the international airports in Podgorica and Tivat which are distant 12km and 4 km from the city centers. Domestic and international transport supply the connection with all world important destinations (Belgrade, Budapest, Paris, Zagreb, Zürich, Frankfurt, Rome, Amsterdam, Ljubljana, Vienna, Istanbul, Munich, Moscow).
Railroad network id 250 km long and it's main route is
Bar-Belgrade connection as well as its legs towards Niksic and Skadar.
Maritime transport is mainly performed through the main and the most
important port Bar and several smaller ones in Kotor, Zelenika and
Budva wherein there are the marines for the yachts and sailboats. Sea
transport is performed through regular ferryboat lines Bar-Bari,
Bar-Ancona and Kotor-Bari.
